The ROM, located at the corner of Bloor St and Queen's Park Ave, is Canada's largest museum. Its exhibits and galleries explore the visual arts, archaeology, the life sciences and natural history.  

The Ontario Science Centre
The Ontario Science Centre houses an OMNIMAX Theatre, which presents a variety of IMAX films on science and nature, and showcases rotating exhibits, educational programs and special events.

Ontario Place
Ontario Place was created as a showplace for the province and the nation. It is situated on the waterfront of Lake Ontario and is an entertainment centre for the whole family. It features a Cinesphere IMAX Theatre, and a full day's worth of exciting rides and attractions, in a setting of canals, lakes and lagoons. A 16,000 seat amphitheatre that hosts some noteworthy concerts.

Canada's Wonderland
Commonly referred to as Wonderland, this amusement park features over 200 attractions, 65 thrilling rides and North America's greatest variety of roller coasters. The park has a variety of thrill rides, including the Back Lot Stunt Coaster, created from a car scene in The Italian Job movie. The wild ride takes families on a high-speed stunt car adventure through movie sets and scenes inspired by the film's climatic chase sequence. Located just 30 km's north of the Toronto Metro area, the park also offers live shows, a water park and a small picnic area at the front gates. It is located close to campgrounds and other accommodations.

Toronto Zoo
The Toronto Zoo, located in Scarborough, is amongst the best in the country. The Zoo features a wide range of wildlife including polar bears, otters, venomous snakes, orangutans and pygmy hippos.

Toronto Pride Week

Toronto Pride Week is an annual event that takes place in downtown Toronto during the last week of June. The event is one of the largest of its kind in the world and celebrates diverse sexual and gender identities, histories, cultures, creativities, families, friends and lives. The week long festival included a three-day arts fest, a weekend street fair (including a community fair and market place), a Dyke March and a Pride Parade.

Toronto International Film Festival

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is a publicly-attended film festival held each September in Toronto. The festival begins the Thursday night after Labour Day (the first Monday in September in Canada) and lasts for eleven days, although closing night is celebrated on the tenth evening (the second Saturday). Between 300-400 films are screened at approximately 37 screens in downtown Toronto venues.

 Toronto International Dragon Boat Race

Combining both sport and ancient Chinese culture, the Toronto International Dragon Boat Race includes races for adults, youth and families. Over 125,000 spectators and participants attend each year to see dance companies, attend workshops, watch an onsite parade, visit the multicultural village, cheer on race teams and more.

Festival of Fire

This annual fireworks festival takes place on and around Canada Day at Ontario Place. Brilliant fireworks displays are choreographed to music and attract international attention.

Honda Indy Toronto

The Honda Indy Toronto is an annual Indy Car Series race, held in Toronto. Originally known as the Molson Indy Toronto, it was a Champ Car World Series race held annually from 1986 to 2007. The track has 11 turns, is a 1.755-mile (2.824 km) street circuit, and is located at Exhibition Place.
